Latest Review of Realme C67

Realme is known for its affordable and stylish smartphones, and the new Realme C67 is no exception. Launched globally in late December 2023 and now available in Pakistan, this budget-friendly device offers impressive specs and a great camera. Let’s take a closer look to see if it’s worth considering in early 2024.

The Realme C67 is a compelling choice in the affordable smartphone segment, catering to the needs of demanding users. Boasting a large IPS screen with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, vibrant colors, and high brightness, it offers an enjoyable viewing experience. Powered by a Qualcomm processor, while not the most powerful, it handles everyday tasks efficiently. The main rear camera provides effective 3x digital zoom, delivering good quality photos. With stereo sound support, realme UI offering a near-stock Android experience, and a commendable battery life with 33W fast charging, the C67 ticks many boxes. It also features a MicroSD card slot, a standard headphone jack, and IP54 dust and splash protection. While lacking an ultra-wide-angle camera, the realme C67 impresses with its overall package, making it a strong contender in its price range.

Now lets get into deep review of Realme C67.

Design and Build

The realme C67 stands out with its colorful and radiant design. The back panel features a unique color-shifting design that catches the light in different ways. Even without a case, the phone resists fingerprints, making it easy to handle.

Available in Sunny Oasis and Black Rock colors, the C67’s design doesn’t scream budget. The dual-camera system on the back protrudes slightly, making it prone to scratches. However, the phone’s slim profile (7.59mm) and weight (185g) make it easy to carry.

Display and Multimedia

The C67 sports a large 6.72-inch LCD display with decent color reproduction, although not as vibrant as IPS displays. The slim borders enhance the viewing experience, and the phone’s 800 nits of brightness ensure readability even in bright sunlight.
The front camera is housed in a circular punch-hole design, a departure from older dew-drop notches. The phone also features dual stereo speakers, a rare find in this price range, providing decent audio quality for videos and games.

Camera

The realme C67’s camera is its standout feature, with a 108 megapixel main shooter and a 2 megapixel depth sensor on the back. The selfie camera has a 8-megapixel resolution.

The rear camera impresses in well-lit environments, capturing sharp and vibrant images. The Auto HDR feature enhances colors and details, making photos look more appealing. Hi-Res mode allows for capturing detailed landscape shots, although it’s less effective for moving subjects.
In low-light conditions, image quality naturally decreases, with photos appearing filtered and less detailed. The phone performs best in brightly lit environments. Video recording is limited to 1080P@30FPS, with decent stabilization in well-lit conditions but reduced quality in low light.

OS, Apps, and User Interface

The realme C67 runs on Android 14 with the realme UI skin. The interface is clean and resembles stock Android, with some pre-installed apps and bloatware. The App Market app suggests apps but can be bypassed for the Google Play Store, the preferred choice for most users.
Realme’s Mini Capsule 2.0, a version of Dynamic Island, adds a unique touch to the UI. It appears during music playback and charging, offering gesture controls and enhancing the user experience.

Connectivity & Battery Life

The realme C67 is equipped with a 5000mAh battery, a standard size for phones in its class. In my experience, the battery lasted well over a day with regular use, including social media browsing, video watching, and email checking. I didn’t need to charge it overnight, and there was still power left in the morning.
According to PCMark’s battery life test, the C67 achieved an impressive 18 hours and 1 minute of battery life. While not the fastest, the 33W charging provided with the phone is sufficient, considering its long battery life.

Conclusion

Overall, the realme C67 offers decent specs and performance for its price, starting at PHP 9,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant. However, its standout feature is its camera. For its price, the C67 boasts one of the better smartphone cameras I’ve tested, making it an excellent choice for budget-conscious buyers looking to capture high-quality photos and videos.
If you prioritize gaming performance or a higher refresh rate display, there are other options available. However, if photography and videography are your main concerns, the realme C67 is a solid choice.
